Who cares if a new plane is the size of 20 buses, or the new shopping mall is as big as 5 football fields.
When did buses and football fields become standard units of measurement??? Dinosaurs are the exception, they are compared to Man (except the Diplidocus, which is 3.7 buses long). So with this design I wanted to play around with scale and the way dinosaurs were documented in old natural history books. Thanks for your support. P.S If this tee was printed, it would take 1.4 million tees to fill an olympic size swimming pool. |

i would guess its in meters -- so he's bout 6' 6" tall, alittle taller than the average man, i must say 9ave is 5' 10" i think).... boy, we American's are sure lost when it comes to the metric system...i hope the reverse is true for everyone else :)

By the way...i do agree about your assessment of the wacky ways the scientific types try to relate the size of things to us layfolk...just tell it how it is...for the most part we grasp the concepts of units of measurement....in inches and feet of course :)

Completely unrelated to the shirt, just on the whole meters and imperial measurements thing...
I find it hilarious coming from Australia that i had no problem with the metric measurements, but would also have no problem if they were imperial measurements because whilst we are officially metric, the influence of America on our culture means we all must have a basic understanding of feet inches etc. But when it is reversed, we see how lost you all became. |

I really, really dig this T...don't know why...I mean, the concept w/ size is nice and all, but I really like Godzilla in there for perspective...how he towers above all...it's really cool...and the running man is awesome.

Never realised using the metric system would cause such a debate.
I don't think that little man is really 2 metres tall, considering he's slightly under the mark, and he's leaping through the air. Thanks for the comments though. |

I wanted to show that Godzilla is off the scale, and the businessman, who thinks he is the 'Big Kahuna' is in fact rather insignificant in this situation. I also wanted him to look a bit like the japanese guys running in the streets in panic when Godzilla steams through Tokyo.

Haha, nice design! And the man does remind me of a japanese man running through tokyo!! Also, the spikey things on Godzilla look like bites taken from his back.
