reminds me of mike mignola, other than that i don't like it very much, kind of simple in a not "its meant to be simple" way. maybe add a small background or some such thing.

No don't add a background! And it's not "simple" - it's striking, it has impact, it's graphic. I think it's better than being over-fussy. And pink is good. Nice work!

It's wicked, I really like it. I like the pink, it's different and makes it stand out all the more, which is what you want. It's something I'd go for.
