you should either keep the design all liney (like it is on the right) or all black (like it is on the left) but don't change it in the middle

make it all liney, all black is too plain. but i do agree with him/her/it. Nice work, though.

I figured the lines coincide with the feathers on a roster, they are more complicated and smaller towards the tail end of the roster (the feathers that is, .. and so is my design).

I'm the opposite of the other comments- I like the way the lines become more detailed around the right edge. It makes the design more asymmetrical and draws you from left to right. Plus, if you made it all lines it would just be a mess. All black, it's just a freakin dino stuffed chicken. Good work, me laddo. I think it's jeeeeest right.

i think that the rooster should be standing upright, though. slanted makes it look like it's falling over.
