I like the ducks the way they are. i think that the image hits you in the face. it really doesn't need to be explained. the text confused me at first in fact. i understood the shirt without the text.

You need to suck it up and lose the text. If a bajillion people have told you they love your shirt sans text, just accept that something was lost in translation from your brain to ours. I like the text. I looked at the ducks and the goose and thought country and read the text and thought of hill-billy fun. Then I thought of the birds having hill billy fun--and I laughed. Finally after all that I realized duck, duck, goose. Hahaha! Man I wouls love to wear this shirt with a nice pair of rain boats, or some camo pants (and I hate camo). This is a nice homestyle shirt, don't listen to those city clickers who simiply can't appreciate some good back country fun ;-)

I think you should just have a picture of a duck with no text.
Whenever someone looks at your shirt and says "hmmm.. duck?" throw a rock at their head. While they're bleeding to death, loom over them and say "what do I have to do, spell it out for you?!" |

itd also be helpful put the text into a powerpoint presentation and carry it on a jump drive. |

Second, I don't think "a duck, a duck, and a goose" when I see it. I see "two ducks and a goose," which doesn't exactly get me going in the duck-duck direction. Third, the text is not bringing anything to the table. Finally, Ctrl C and Ctrl P are not bringing anything to the table. |

thats partially why the txt is there so you dont just see 2 ducks and a goose it makes you think why... cause anyone on the street will jsut see 2 ducks and a goose and not get it at all... everyone here just gets it cause of the theme

thats the point is to be copied and pasted because the people who are ducks are supposed to be the same why the goose is the only thing thats different ... i wanted to make this as simplistic as possible simplicity is key, all these shirts that have mindless things on them just to look cool, i just think are stupid and have no meaning behind them, i put everything on that design for a specific reason.

I actually only got it after I ignored the text and thought "Duck Duck Goose." To me the text is distracting from what it is saying. And I would think that art school people would understand a little subtlety goes a long way, and therefore that the design is better without the text.
By the way, good artists are able to take criticism and change based on that criticism and not take it personally. I'm sorry you are unwilling to make a better shirt, that clearly more people would like to buy, just because you are too attached to the text. |
