I'm not sure it's obvious enough that he's turning the apple into the statue. And isn't that the venus de milo? Hate to be a poop but she's inside, not outside.

took awhile for me to get, i at first eventually got the connection between his chewing and the statue...but then through the comments in the blog noticed the shape of the arm in the apple!!! this is funny!!!!!! was hard for me to get at first, but funny in the end!!!! nice work Jemae:)

Love the concept. I had to read the comments before I understood what's going on. If it was made a little more obvious in the design, I would definately buy this.

ginetteginette on Apr 06 '08 wow i'm glad i took a second look at this because i too did not the connection and even after looking at comments it is still not that obvious. you almost needed to actually copy paste the exact shape/outline of the statue into the apple to really get it across.
also it might only be me but that man in the far background looks gigantic. perspectively isn't that the size a regular man would be if he was standing right next to the statue? seems to me like he should be a lot smaller. |
