I hope you'll like it, it's a looooong story... it's the story of a chicken, that was terribly touched by those 3 scrambled friends that could have had a brillant life...so, sad, he decided to drink a lot of beers in their honor, and finally, some thoughts came to his mind about what those three could have been, problem is that drunk, those thought were just delirious :-)

The design is really well done and nice to look at, but it didn't make any sense until I read what you had to say about it and I was still a bit confused. It might be better without the daydream or perhaps with a slightly less complicated daydream.

at first i overlook the broken eggs...

It's a nice drawing that completely falls apart without the lengthy backstory. How 'bout modify it so it stands on it's own?

Like the drunken chicken. Reminds me of a restaurant in Australia called Drunken Chicken, where they serve chicken that has been soaked in different alcohols. Yummmmmmy!

I agree, maybe just take out the chickens up top, modify the bottles of drink to be egg nog, and have a bunch of the broken eggs on the ground and against the wall and it seems like a down-on-its-luck chicken rebelling against its own future of being barefoot and pregnant.

i don't think the eggs or the booze needs to be there (or the names), just him thinking what he wanted to be when he was a chick. i think it really got to complicated, but the quality is there.

you could even take out the chicks and eggs and just make it drunk big bird. Im sure a lot of people would love that.

you have some great skills but i agree with everyone about the story, it takes away from your great art and just makes it confusing. and i don't want to have to tell to every person i meet this long story about my shirt just to have them go "...oh". i agree with chelly, maybe make it look like he's daydreaming about what he wanted to be but now he's an old drunk in the gutter.

I actually really enjoy this design, and I'd made up my own back story before reading Jebs. They were quite similar, really.

Fantastic illustration, detailed, lots of variety, great composition, color, looks great on the shirt and I'd wear it just to look cool and if someone asked me what it means it would be even cooler to say, "I don't know". $5

It's very good, but I don't think I'd wear it as it is. I'd probably rather it be just the 3 birds and text rather than the drunken one too.

So sad, I would never wear it, but I give you a B for originality!

i would try having scrambled eggs in the daydream bubble, with names below them, i think that would get it across more smoothly, don't know how cool it would look though. nice artwork though
