Awfully simple-looking, but it's hard to resist wearing a reply to "Where's my jetpack??" Haven't seen the other rocket pack shirt, so you can have a 4 :)

hey we tried to see if there was another jet pack shirt b4 we submitted but we didn't see one. Not that I doubt you atomic. If anyone finds a link We would love to see! It's weird that the judges would allow this through if there was already one.

sorry benji, there really is a jet pack shirt. my friend has it. it's sold out now, that's why you didn't see it. and no offense, but the art was better.

The Threadless team (to my understanding) just check that the art's OK and that it has few enough colours, isn't luridly pornographic or anything... they don't reject your submission from voting just because it's the same idea as one that's already been printed. Two artists could approach the same subject in completely different ways.
Anyway... it's unlikely this will be printed, just because it is so similar, but just thought I'd respond to benjipaffel's comment about the judges letting it through. :) |

Hey - not to burst anyone's bubble or anything, but I like this design better than the first one. I wouldn't have bought the first one, but the seatbelt-type closure on the front of this? Freakin' hilarious. Don't go back to the drawing board just yet, Benji. Just because someone else had a similar design first doesn't mean it's better than yours. :)

Yeah, I'd definitely go with your design over the old one... This is a completely different take of the same idea... The other jetpack doesn't even have proper harnessing! This one has it all, and that's why it gets a $5.

I much prefer this design to the earlier version. I love the simplicity and cartoonish design - if you redo this, keep in mind that I think the lack of realism really adds to this.

better then the other jet pack shirt for the reason that this goes all the way around, as if your actually strapped in, but the other just has the pack, no straps no nothing, so it should be printed

the cartoon image is perfect. if it was realistic it would be pretty square and the cool kinda square all the kids are goin for. 10 points. minus 5.

yes, your design is better than the first; i dig your straps that go all across the back, and extend to the front. the other one's straps don't go all around and are not on the front at all. i really hope this gets through despite the other one's printing!

My son wears his (kids' version) Sexy Pack shirt as often as it's clean, and honestly, I like this one a lot better. Keep up the good work -- I think you should be getting consistently higher scores!
