Not very exciting to me, so many Koala T-shirts around.
FRICKINAWESOME
I like the drawing too, but for the real dreaming about you feeling, have some dream-like thought clouds going from the koala bear to the wearer's head, which would be the biggest dream cloud of all when they lead up to it!

Most koalas have chlamydia and are angry.

I think its a cute idea, but I dont like the style of illustration though.
diydill
Hmm... Freakingawesome you do have a valid point. Maybe I should change the title to "looking sleepy and cute for you."

Adorable! ...No turquoise please!

yes, nice illo!
hickkey
oh...did you get the idea from the zoo giftshop shirts?
diydill
Hickkey, Actually no... My originally ideas tends to look completely different in the end. I was originally trying to design a cute animal snuggling with my arm. The tree would have been my actual arm. So, the placement would have been the side of the shirt. The only two problems with this idea with my current design are that not everyone has the same size arm, and that my arm would have cover the front paw so the koala look like it was hanging instead of snuggling. Also if i moved my arm, the koala would have looked like it was just floating. So I decided to create a tree, and what you see is the final product. I do plan to try to think of a design that interacts with my arms. I think it would be fun idea.. Don't you?

so cute

oh yeah definitely, i see it now. why don't you have the little guy turned around on either one of the sides? (preferably left) like if he/she was hugging you from the side? i dont know, just an idea.
diydill
Hickkey, good idea. Instead of a koala, maybe a squirrel, or a chipmonk. You know how those two animal look like when they climbing a trees. Maybe print on a tree trunk color shirt, and make a hole full of acorns. Thoughts?

Nice illo, but why would i buy a shirt from threadless like this when i could walk five minutes down the road and buy one from a souvenir shop. (i realise this doesn't apply to people in other parts of the world, but hey, I'm sure they're not looking for touristy souvenir shirts here either)
Sorry if it sounds harsh, i just think you should use yer skillz for something witty, original, thought provoking, whatever. Sell this design to a souvenir manufacturer.
diydill
Nomad,
Let me be blunt, there are no Koala bears where I live? Zero. NO zoos, no animal preservations, and no Koalas running around in the woods. When you get a souvenir, it is a little something to remind you from your trip? When I travel, I sure like to buy souvenir shirts of animals that don’t live within the general population. Since you did label my shirt “touristy souvenir shirts” what place am I promoting? A designer would be firer if he/she created a tourist shirt with no information of the place of origin? Also, my design does not follow the corporate style of design; so, I would be wasting my time trying to send it to different companies. Do me a favor next time: if you don’t like my design, just say that. Everyone is entitle to their own opinion. Another thing, do your homework and research, before giving advise and wasting other people time??
Diydill
P.S. My shirt is design for girls who like cute fuzzy animals, and single men who want attention from girls that are attracted to cute animals! That is who will want this shirt.

OMG, I sounded piss off in the last post... I can get witty at times! I think my graphic design teacher from college would give me a A (grade) for my last comment. Anyway, thank you all for your comments, and votes for my design.

koalas aren't bears ; )
