hahah anyone seen the tickle me emo doll from mad tv? this made me think of that. google it if you haven't seen it, its good. I like this shirt, would be funny if this was a kids shirt as well.

mezo on Mar 31 '08 I'd be bummed if I didn't have hands, too. Your concept is terrible and the art, while executed nicely, is very elementry. The style seems fitting for a children's book but I could not fathom an adult person wearing something like this. And I hope the trend of making fun of the emo sub-culture dies soon. It's not funny, it's stale & boring.

fatheed on Mar 31 '08 I don't think the concept is terrible at all. I can see an adult wearing a design in this style if the concept was strong enough and suited it. This concept is probably not stropng enough to carry the style. The theme is tired, but still has appeal.

mezo's submission about the emo kid having no arms made me laugh aloud. i think your pictures are nicely drawn, but i agree with the emo kid concept. it's too overplayed and stereotypical.

Aww... when I saw the title, I really wanted it to be skippy, happy emo kids... all grinning and loving life, but still dressed to fit the sub-culture. The art's fine, I just think the concept doesn't really work.

Also, I agree with Sanguinity. This doesn't show an emo having any fun at all. It would be better if it were more of an oxymoron.
