People On A Car Scaring The Lions In The Car Which Is Funny Because It's Usually The Other Way Around
is this title a joke? if so haha, but i watch big cat diary, lions arent the least bit scared of people in cars. they are top of the food chain, so the whole role changing doesnt make much sense here BUT i like the style 4 |

This is pretty tight. Maybe if the lions could be changed up a bit and maybe made an off yellow color to add to the lion look?

Love your colors, yet I'd wish for it to be more obvious that there's lions in the car.

Perhaps some of the lions could have manes? It's hard to tell what they are.

This idea is great, but not very well drawn, needs better lions and i'd love.

I like your detailed illustrative style, but some qualities of it are awkward…the boy on top of the car looks like his shoulder is broken and his head is a bit like a bald slug…and the woman’s feet are a bit strange with that bush.
I do think the concept works if you can get the illustration right. |

erm... i live in south africa and this kind of thing is pretty common with baboons actually... and you may think that baboons are pretty cute little monkeys but theyre quite nasty looking things with massive teeth... so my point is... i think this miiiiiiiiiiight be more interesting with baboons in it... especially since the people are doing exactly the kinds of things baboons actually do... whereas lions kind of just lie under a tree and ... do they smirk? i think they do... i also feel like i'd like it more if it came in veld like colours... erm... veld is like savannah i guess... anyway cool...

FRICKINAWESOME on Apr 02 '08 I think the trees and leaves in the background kind of drown out the main idea here and are a bit distracting. I love the fact that a human is trying to lift the car and all the human placements and actions are perfect. I agree the lions need to look a bit more lion-y in the car, but their expressions of fear are superb as well. Knowing you would change a few smaller details if this was selected for printing, I've got to hand it to you to make a really fun "switching places of two objects roles" sub, when most of these kinds of subs are needless role swaps that really make no sense or are hardly funny.

funny concept and good overall. I would work on making the lions in the front seat look more like lions. It is kind of hard to tell.
