The pink doesn't stand out enough. Perhaps if the lines weren't all the same size. Maybe make the lettering thicker?

They're not supposed to stick out more than the design though. Leave some work to the viewer.

i think this would work as a nice illustration just without type or you need to adjust the type and have more prominent. Right now it is impossible to understand what it says.
Or why not arrange better your objects so they write very clarly your phrase?

For some reasion, I keep reading it as " deEine cool". The f is hard to read.

The shoelace area looks very cluttered. Perhaps if 'Define cool' was in glow and the dark he would make it better.

at first i really had no idea what the pink was there for, but then i saw your note...it's really hard to see it with the pink (i think maybe because the hotpink is hard on the eyes against light blue--but don't change light blue, i LOVE it in light blue). i really like it though (and i don't think i'd mind having to explain the message) i'd probably buy it like this, even with the pink trouble. love how the message is embroidered. definitely cool.

I had this in critique for a while. While getting some considerable input, a lot of the issues mentioned here were never mentioned in critique. I wish I could have ironed them all out at the critique stage, instead of submitting something that still has some obvious problems.

I think the legibility is a bit low. Not sure if I would've been able to read it without the title.
