Coolness!! My one suggestion would be to have the jumping guy not ON the launch pedal, but just ABOUT to land on it. more visual tension I think (more exciting anticipation than the air bubbles). At the moment of time shown, i'd want to see a bit of liftoff.

i love this! i used to have a rocket like this (only a smaller variety) when i was little that gave me great joy to set off.
it was called stomp rocket or something along those lines. perhaps i will bust it out in the spring time and reminisce my childhood. |

mezo on Mar 29 '08 Hey! I actually love your color scheme for probably the first time ever! Even though I prefer more looser illustrations, your clean style is done well. I think adding some sort of texture in the rocket would break up that solid yellow ink spot some and allow it to breathe. 4
