About my design

by benjipaffel
This design features a pup with a wounded paw. "I'm looking for the man that shot my paw!" is in text.

I have to agree that it would be great without the text, but I love the art style.

with text but the dog mirrored?

I would also make the contour all the same shade of black, and thickness and the shadow lighter (itīs almost driving the attention away from the dog)

I don't think you need to make the speak bubble thing connect all the way to the dog's mouth. or mirror the dog. and it doesn't really look like the dog's holding the gun...

Gun / paw doesn't bother me, definitely agree with removing the text. Great style so far!

Thanks Joey and every body else that has commented. I personally think the text is what gives it purpose, but I guess not everybody gets the reference and I understand that. Thanks all whether you like it or hate it. I do appreciate the honesty.

I like the text ! But, yeah, the extension on the thought bubble should not extend across your character. Needs to just be aimed towards his head.
