So, I subbed this earlier and it got declined for some small issues with the presentation. I thought that this might go well with the "Old Fashioned Fun" contest since it is a black and white print and is inspired by an old movie.

Anyways, for those of you who are confused (this is a pretty obscure one), this design is about the behind the scenes use of chocolate syrup as blood in Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho and in other famous films. Check it out here...

Hope you guys like it.

A huge fan of Psycho. Hitchcock was a genius at creating the ultimate horror movie. Psycho's still the scariest movie I've ever seen compared to the dull, slasher movies.

this is amazing
it made me giggle when the behind the scenes of Psycho explained that they used chocolate sauce for blood

really nicely done. i like the way that you've managed to have a lot of detail whilst keeping it all greyscale.

as a HUGE hitchcock fan, i'd love to wear this on a shirt. i think if you were to edit anything, maybe the size/placement (maybe a little higher? like an inch or two) and the way the syrup is dripping into the drain just doesnt seem to be consistant with the rest of the syrup. like, it's too thin/drippy looking then while it looks thick and gloppy near the words. but i do love the concept. i'd buy it.

i think its a funny concept but before I read your explanation i totally thought of chaco sandals first...I know the spelling is different but still that is where my mind went...good idea though

Love the idea and execution, but I don't think the sauce spelling out "choco psycho" is really neccessary... I got it before I saw the words, and I suspect that even if I didn't geddit, it's still a (no pun intended) sweet design.

I agree with auxo...I really love where this design is pointing our brains and it is executed quite well, but for those who get it, they will get it, and no amount of text will really help the others out! lol. Maybe just with a more elaborate down the drain swirling effect instead of the letters would sell this more...I'm still 4$'ing it because i love Hitchcock and the idea behind this one...

Love the idea, however I agree about the words. The bottle says enough, anything else can be explained by the wearer of the shirt, the syrup won't help much.

Thanks for all the comments. As for the typography, I mostly added it more for style than clarification. I just thought it would look better than a plain old puddle.

Thanks again to all!
