This is my very first submission and actually, first time even using Illustrator!!! So please be nice. :) Constructive critisism is extremely welcome!!



I got this Idea because my sister and I argue all the time over which size of dog is best, big or small. She has Chihuahuas and I have a Rhodesian Ridgeback. This just goes to show that size really matters.... When it comes to dogs anyway. (I am not cutting on small dogs in any way. Just saying they arn't for me.)

Really good job, especially for being new to a program like Illustrator. It will only get easier the more you use it. Let me first say that I like your concept and design, it made me laugh. That being said I had a few things I thought I would put out there regarding the design.



I would suggest that I don't think the design needs the word balloon. The expression on the little dog's face says it all, and the word balloon is overkill. The lines seem a little heavy on the outline on the dogs. The last thing I would say is try to integrate the design with the shirt a little more. It's not on a bad color, but the color isn't incorporated in the design itself. The placement of it is a little awkward.



That being said, keep the designs coming, and good luck!
