cute indeed....cute indeed. 8 colors tho? Where are all these colors being used? Unless you are counting the shirt colors. I only see 4 or 5. Orange, Brown, Blue, White, and maybe a darker brown for the outlines.
im sorry, but the bears are VERY similar to an asian brand of bears (dont know the name, but trust me, the idea isnt original), where the smaller bear is almost always pictured sitting on top of the bigger bear...=\
handlas - each bear has two colors = 4, there are two blues and the dark brown and white. That's a total of eight by my count. I think it could be easily knocked down to 5 by eliminating the bears' shading and changing the white in the waves to the light blue. Also the little bear looks so weird to me - who sleeps like that?
@pinestarch - ooohh really you saw that idea? where? can you give me exact details about that? bear is a common subject so everybody can think of it...:-)
@Chengui - i dont need to be in realistic always, weird looks might lead something into uniqueness, so let it that bear slept like that..lol
Yeah, I wasn't against head-up sleeping. It made me chuckle. I forgot to say that I really do like the illustration/concept. I would just cut those colors because it'll be a cheaper print and I don't see t compromising the design at all.
i like the illustration, and the characters, even if they do resemble something that exist. come on now, at the 21 century, it is almost impossible to come up with something entirely original.
yet, my problem here is a composition. everything is too equal.
if lets say the 'dream' was smaller or bigger it would work better.
dominant, subdominant and subboridnate :)
don't mean to bore you, reminding basic rules of a composition.:)
