I agree this concept needs a bit more to really push it over the edge of awesome. I like the suggestion of a jail cell or jail pen behind it, or at least some cutout figures aiming guns at the doors the bandits are gonna go through, kind of as a joke that the town of 2-d fake buildings is gonna have flat citizens as well. Still, nice rendering although i always feel your stuff could use just a tad bit more background.
