He can do goofy pun tees, he can do abstract crazytown pieces, he can even do ones halfway between these two extremes! I smell a Threadless future superstar, and this DEF adds another respect notch and style into your growing arsenal of impressive subs. I like the super glow idea, even funnier if it's printed off to the side like that.

i like the look of it, but i don't get it. i understand that the title is from american psycho, but not much else.

thanks for the input nie. i really wanted to focus on the aesthetics of the design over concept, as with most of my subs, but yes, the inspiration is from american psycho and other serial killer related pieces

the internal organs represent an internal struggle along with the cutting scissors and bowel binding paper clip. the pin up figure with the crossed out eyes represents how serial killers often view their victims as faceless objects with no remorse for what they do.

also at the bottom of the (screen left) lung is the mugshot of henry lee lucas, one of america's lesser known serial killers who claims to have murdered over 300 people.

morbid i know, but its my style, and I refuse to draw cute little animals.

ha, i know, i got some suggestions from friends to do the side placement, and when i tried it out i thought it looked really good. I know it doesnt make sense with the organ placement, but without the glow ink, i thought it wouldnt be a big deal

The textures in the organs are really nice. I think the outline of the girl looks good too, although the band across her eyes feels a little cartoonish compared to the rest of the drawing...but maybe that was intentional. The side placement is gorgeous, and yeah, it doesn't make sense, but design wise, it seems much stronger. In other words, it's pretty much awesome!

Lhiiiz, thanks for the comment, and yes, the cross over the eyes, along with the clip on the intestine and the scissors on the lung were all intended to be clean. unfortunately, the scissors got lost under my distress layer, so its really only the eye-cross and the clip that have the clean aesthetic
