Quister told me this in critique:
"Take of the smoker.....it distracts the focus from your design." I agree with quister now. But I still like this smoker. Since she gave me the inspiration and I saw the quality of tranquility. That's why I didn't take the smoker off. Although it will lower the score. But I'd like to be honesty to myself instead of please everyone. |

i don't like the smoker either. but if the smoker were taken away it would need something in it's place. i think also, the smoker is just to plain. most of the jellies are defined by solid colors and the smoker is defined by just lines...

power to you! I think the smoker is fine, I don't see how it detracts aesthetically just because people are disgusted by smoking. whatever. maybe if it were a huge ass j it would change their opinion. |

I actually kinda like that the smoker isn't as well-defined as the jellyfish..it's as if her dreams are more vivid, and more beautiful than real life.

The smoker looks contemplative the smoke transforming into psychedelic jellyfish symbolize the deadly habit smoking is. Deep! I like it. 5!

Hey Zoe. I agree with one of the earlier comments. I think there should be more detail put into the person and the cigarette. Otherwise the design is really great. I like the style of the line work in your jellyfish. You may want to also consider varying the shape of them a little more since in real life, they are a lot more irregular. gnat
