Inspired by something a friend of mine said. She wanted me to record all her conversations....

it's a bit strange how what's supposed to be paper posted on a shirt has such a strong shadow yet 3-d rendered objects are just glued to it like paper.
i think this needs to over all have the same feel. that tape recorder and that microphone, for what you're going for, need shadows

the design isn't working for me, but this would make such a great slogan. submit it as that.

I work for Sprint so I really like the idea--In the critique I said something about losing the mic--most tape "recorders" would have that function built in, so the microphone needs to go. I agree with ginette on the rendering.

In the design on my sketchbook I had the note as a piece of card taped to the shirt - but all the people I asked said that the post-it note made it look more fun. Kinda like a girlfriend had left a note for her boyfriend...

i get the post it note, my comment was mostly regarding the supposedly 3-d objects of the recorder and microphone. if a thin slice of post-it paper makes a shadow, wouldn't the other two items also create shadows?

cool idea, but the microphone looks wonky

another example of a good idea with bad execution.

What is it with the need to stick hearts in every design. (Okay, I'm exaggerating, but still.) But I agree, nice concept, but it really could have used a couple weeks in the Critiques. The microphone is too big, and the recorder too small. And maybe put an asterisk on the microphone so that "may be recorded..." is like a footnote with the "small print" in it down near the bottom edge of the shirt.

anyone know if I can pull it down and stick it back into critiques?

Nice idea!

this definitely has potential. If only there were some way to put in the ubiquitous headsets all of us tech support geeks wear ... it's also a great slogan idea!

Sounding a bit like a broken record I know but the concept is really good, the design needs a bit of work tho! The head of the mic looks a bit exagerated and the recorder and mic look a bit too 2-d! great concept tho!

you don't have to pull it down, just submit it to critiques and work out all the kinks before re-submitting this
