Here’s my design for the Alumni (lyricize) group submission.

It’s inspired by the first half of the song LUCY IN THE SKY WITH DIAMONDS, by the BEATLES.

Very cleverly designed. Those lines on her hair make it look shiny, and the bright colours give it a great feel. You've obviously thought this through very well. 5/5 from me.

Fantastic line style and flow that looks like it's about to take a trip down off your shirt and go down the street without you! Great interpretation of the song, and all the elements go so well. the girl looks a bit alien-ish, but other than that, the colors and all are a feast for my retinas.

I think you have done well with interpreting this song. The colors are exactly how I would picture Harrison's sitar if sound were visible. I love this song and the Beatles, and this design represents it well.

Having said that, two things: the shape of her eyes seems a bit off, "a bit alien-ish" as one person said. Possibly something a little more rounded would work better, if you could still keep the kaleidoscope effect.

Also, I would agree with those who say a different shirt color would work better. I think the white leaves the design a little empty, but I can't think of a better color which would work with the colors. Maybe black? It's tough to find a background that wouldn't take away from the colors of the hair and tree etc.

I love how the hair looks shiny and seems to move; it's really trippy. This design is obviously very much thought out and it shows. I would try to fix the eyes and the background, but even if not, I would buy this for me and everyone I know.

I agree that the eyes look a bit an alien, but there really isn't anything I could have done to change that. The kaleidoscope pattern would make any eye look inhuman.

Also I never intended to do this on a white shirt, because I new there would be people who would complain, but there wasn't any other shirt that complimented these colors.
