the boot is unnecessary. Otherwise, I love this.
The way you have the cloud and the drop small at the top, and the drop gets bigger on his way down, I like that. It sort of gives some perspective as if you were looking from the ground up to the sky. I think you might do well to exaggerate that effect even more. |

agree with the above two comments. The rain drop would flatten without the help of the boot so its not needed.

i think this is the first time i'll have to disagree with sunshine69 but i love the boot! the bottom puddle hasn't been stepped on yet, he's afraid OF being stepped on. i truly love that extra bit. |

I see what you're saying Ginette, and I agree with you about the composition, but I still don't like the single disembodied boot.
Sketchical, have you tried making the droplet's eyes in the 5th and 6th images white with dark pupils? He looks a little like a ghost otherwise. I think this is great, though. The changing expressions and body language of the droplet is priceless. So horribly and hilariously tragic. |

i'd buy it if instead of the boot the drop was just a splat at the end after his fall. Without his hand in the air.
