mezo on Feb 28 '08 The dirty text layout is amazing, but I feel the typewriter is too bottom heavy & clean. It would have been neat to see it rendered just ass "carelessly" with perhaps just going it as a contour drawing- single color & single stroke. 3

I really like the type. i almost think i might like it better with out the typewritter at all. I agree with Dale, the styles just don't seem to fit together.

Same for me about the typewriter. Probably better to take it out or try it contour... Love the type though!

OR MAKE IT COMIC SANS!!! Just kidding. I love the text... Perhaps if you did a halftone gradient on the typewriter it would look dirtier and blend in. At the moment it looks a bit Masterclips. $5 for me though |

classicoke on Feb 28 '08 the reason its "clean" is so that you can recognize it as the one in the movie (which it is, but logo reads "shine" instead). also i like the contrast.
i doubt threadless would accept another resub so... please love it! =) |

that's so crazy. i was seriously thinking this morning about starting a design called "writers block", but take it in a different direction than this...would've been crazier if i went in this direction...
still, love the design, think it would be cool if the large bold text didn't just alternate right and left quite as much. nice work, still! |

ginetteginette on Feb 28 '08 wasn't there another shining submission of this nature just a month or so back? i can't find it for the life of me, i just went searching for about ten minutes. but i remember there being a typewriter and the actual writing was to be printed in glow in the dark ink.
i remember liking that one a bit more. |

people generally disliked glow ink so i skipped that. besides, use is limited. cant please em all =/ |

I honestly think that it would be better without the typewriter or with a different one like someone said up there its just too clean cut with how the type is it just doesn't match

This is great personally I would prefer if the type writer was more grungy and just black white (or black and shirt colour) but damn its good and you can't please everyone

i loved it much more with glow in the dark ink! now it's kinda boring :-(

I also really liked the glow in the dark ink version, but this is one is probably looking even better in daylight. I like both! :)

I think this is really great. Maybe if just the large type over the top was glow? $5 from me. I would also buy ericdiaz's suggestion to.

Don't care if it's "the one from the movie". We get that it's from the movie even without the typewriter. And it's nice that you like that it's a different style, but it's not being printed for you to wear - when most people say "I don't like the typewriter", don't be surprised if it doesn't get printed.
