About my design

The age old question posed by Monty Python:

Could two swallows really carry a coconut?

Show all work or no credit.

wasnt it only one swallow???

and to the other age old question: "What... is the air-speed velocity of an unladen swallow" (African or European) find the answer here:

haha! I've got a similar concept in my sketchbook.

Wiffler on Feb 27 '08
It's not a question of where he grips it! A five ounce bird could not carry a one pound coconut...
Wiffler
Wiffler on Feb 27 '08
$5 - obviously.

asfi235 on Feb 27 '08
This is excellent in every way, except for the units error:

gravitation is 9.81 m/s2
asfi235
asfi235 on Feb 27 '08
Ooops, can't do superscripts, I guess.

The units are m/s^2 (metres per second squared)
Funnel

Ugh! I checked my work so many times but I missed the gravity unit! I guess they can fix that in the final cut.

I LOVE THIS SHIRT AND CAN`T BELIEVE YOU MADE THIS!!!

the only things i would add is the real force of gravity of 9.81 metres per second squared...as stated above... also i`d add in italics teh binomial nomenclature of the african swallow...the latin name... or european... your choice :p

The answer to the title of this shirt is: NOBODY CARES!

Very boring concept for the design. The art is bad, the idea is bad. Math jokes go over people's heads and this is not going to appeal to a broad range of people. This design is an absolute failure.

is it a laden swallow or an unladen swallow? $5
FRICKINAWESOME
   FRICKINAWESOME on Mar 01 '08
It's a fun idea, and the mathematical nuances of this one make this a far better handling of the joke visually than the other one Squeegee posted on here. But take that previous one's artistic complexity and combine it with the equations of this idea an you have the perfect Monty Python swallows tee!

AH monty python.

i think the ONLY way you could possibly make this better is to label the swallows "african" and "european" - maybe also do like an arrow or something to the african and be like "non-migratory."

still gets a 5$, but hey, its advice.

I think the elements in the design can be spaced/arranged better. And I do like the lighter olive color for the shirt over cream.

OH MY GOD YESSS!!!@

HAHAHAHA! i love it. great idea.

it would be 5$, but it is rather simplistic. i really wish you spent more time on detail because this would make an amazing shirt and i would buy it if it were just a bit less simple. i'll give it a 4...sorry man
