We all have at least one friend who could be personified by one of these letters. When making this design, I wanted each letter to take on an inherent role of each person in a group of close friends. From the dude who's always trying to throw gang signs, to the cynic who can help but give everyone and everything the finger. These personas within friends always seem to come out best when photographed, which is why I chose to draw these letters as if they know your they're being watched. I originally had this idea for the Rob and Big competition, but it ended before I could finish.



I decided to go less is more with the look and keep the overall design simple, with a Schoolhouse Rock sort of illustration feel. Looks cool on any color...even mint. Hope you like it.

The "D" weirds me out, but otherwise, this is a fun & simple design that I would definitely consider buying. I thought they were teeth at first...which would've been kinda cool (teeth in a mouth, spelling out "friends"). But maybe I'm just crazy.
