I think I've seen this before. Have you thought of taking "conceptual and idea" courses, that definitely improves creativity.

I didn't know about the valentine card, but even thought the idea is similar its not the same drawing, it doesn't looks anything like it, and for me the communication its different... my design concept its about the box that ends alone and dreams of someone special... anyway, I just pictured the idea this way.. not everyone has to like it.. its boring to argue about this things....

I just like to play with words and images as many other designers.
