I love it, but I think it would work better with out the sleeping Dracula at the bottom...I think the top portion gets the point accross by itself. :)

if you did keep the bed, make it coffin-shaped. :D

i agree...i like it a whole lot better without him shown asleep. i think it comes across that way and more humerous without that part of it.

For once I'm gonna disagree and say that showing Dracula sleeping in my opinion ties the design in well. It only comes across more humerous without it because you read the title "Dracula's Nightmare". Without that title people are gonna see a piece of garlic chasing a vampire with a cloud behind it. I was trying to represent a coffin with the lines. It would make for a small bed. Coffins come in all sorts of shapes though :)

you should have more thought bubbles coming out of his head. as in smaller ones to bigger ones so it looks more like his dream.

Even after reading your second comment, I still think that the sleeping Dracula should be cut. The "cloud" behind them looks more like a frame than a cloud.

soooooo cute! i love the colors. I like Dracula sleeping with his little sweat coming off his head!

what if each image was on opposite sides of the shirt? garlic on front, sleeping on back?

I think that might be much cooler. I still like this a lot, the sweat on his brow is a great detail.

I agree with the designer, it's much better that it shows Dracula sleeping. Cool design...

If you were to keep the sleeping dracula then I'd suggest putting him off to the side a bit and havin the bubbles of dream going up to the thingy and stuff.

it's as if you expect the threadless audience to be complete idiots. a sleeping vampire does not need to be shown for us to get that it's a vampire's nightmare to be chased by garlic. i think we could have all deduced that even without your title.

i don't think that green outline is doing anything for this either.

I personally feel that showing him sleeping gives the design depth. I feel like it would have been a lose lose situation anyhow. I'd get rid of him sleeping someone would come on and post it needs something else. It almost seems like you need that alumni shield next to your name to get any respect.

Ginette I may have mentioned this before in another sub of mine. I need your Design advice/input like i need a d!ck in my @ss. I don't want it. I think you come off hateful and appreciate it if you would leave your zero and move on.

Nah don't worry, alumni shields don't guarantee respect, i've seen some pretty bad alumni subs.

The bed needs to be more coffin-looking but i think that's all.

F'ing highlarious. Although I do feel the coffin shape would be better. Djrianna liked it too.

It looks like Dracula has no nose in his nightmare. I like the idea of the sleeping Dracula being positioned horizontally, with a more coffin shaped bed. Cool idea.

I think the fully rendered Dracula at the bottom is distracting from the dream. Maybe you could have just shown a 3/4 perspective on a closed coffin with the "thought/dream bubble" coming from it.

and to nitpick - the garlic would be more dynamic if you varied the line width on the outline. But, like I said...very nitpicky.

You've got a good, clean cartoon style, though - good job.

I'd definitely buy it either way, but I'm gonna throw my vote in for a more hexagonal-shaped coffin for Dracula--just to get the hint across a little better. Especially since, if you're going to get technical, a coffin by definition follows more of the outline of a body (an elongated hexagon); whereas a casket is rectangular.

Im also gonna have to agree with all the other Threadless voters on this one. It seems like two different unconnected images the way you have it right now. I don't think it needs a sleeping drac to figure out the idea, but if you must, please make the first image bigger or the sleeping drac image smaller, and like someone else suggested, make the bed more coffin shaped, Drac more visibly upset at the dream and maybe sweating a bit, and maybe have a little bat plush toy or something in bed next to him, and DEF connect it to the dream with bubbles. Other than that, great idea.

Thanx frickenawsome, Celeleigh, and whizles, good critique and i totally agree with the coffin. Wish i could notice these things a little sooner, or if the critique section on this site worked a little better.

I re- worked the design a bit using some of your suggestions. I like the Toy plush bat idea alot. I may use that. Here is some different versions if anybody cares.

First off, I like your designs for the most part. Second, constantly scoring other designs as "Zero" does not favor your chances any more or less.

He doesn't give them 0's to better his chances of winning, he gives them 0's because they are bad designs.

I personally only vote on the ones I like, and don't vote on the ones I don't like.

Actually, coffins ae the polygon-shaped ones while caskets are rectangular. You, my frind, have drawna casket.

I think it's pretty hilarious. But it does seem a little too busy. Maybe you could have sleeping dracula on the front and the dream on the back? Just a thought but it looks good.

Nice shirt I love garlic... and vampires!
I would have preferred a coffin shape though, it's more ghoulish that way.
