These are characters from a series i've been working on for a few months now....they are mainly about a little boy and his inner monster but this one was created just for threadless. :)

As an illustration, I think it's great. But I don't really think it's working as a tshirt design. It's cute and all, but I think it would have to have more of an intense visual going on for this concept to work.
It would work very well as a children's book illustration or something but I'm not feeling it as a tshirt design.
So, I guess your subliminal messages didn't work on me...you won't be getting a $5. Sorry.

but i agree that it doesn't seem right for a shirt... unless it was somehow placed differently like with the monster on the front trailing from the little boy's lamp on the back. Or vice versa, or something.

i dunno. this is why i don't design shirts, can you tell it's not my thing?

anyway this would be awesome on a messenger bag.
