About my design
by pbeast
As someone that spends most of my life looking at maps (being lost), I just thought this would be something that might help me. :)

so cool, except it would look a lot better if the compass was a little more stylized

similar concept to meashirt. nicer design, but impact not quite the same for me personally.

stone, the design is probably up-side down so that the wearer can read the map

Your color for the 123 line is off. That line is blood red, not purple. Doesn't MTA sell something like this already?

Good idea. I'm not familiar with that map, but a Boston MBTA one should be made :D

I was terrified to pull out my map in NYC for fear for of being abducted into the tunnels by mole people, being an obvious tourist and easy target.

Hmm, that might make a good idea for a shirt...

Fix the colors on the 1-2-3 lines and I'm in! (Honestly, I'd like to see the A-C-E in that nice royal blue that it's meant to be, but I'll take it).

Bo - I know it's off. I did that on purpose.

McGov - I was thinking that if this did get printed, that it could definitely turn into a series! :)

Arius - I can totally empathize!!

Thanks for all the comments guys! If you like it, please tell your friends to vote! :)

This one is of NYC, I think it would be cool to have a series of a bunch of major cities with subways though.

I actually didn't mean to submit this, I meant to upload as a critique because I didn't think it was quite finished, but people seem to be liking it. Keep voting and/or commenting! Thanks guys :)

As someone who can't navigate thru the city, this shirt would be very cute and useful to wear.

You might want to check copy right on this ... I don't know if the map is in public domain.

I actually have a shirt very similar to this, but larger & on black, that I got in NYC. I think it's kinda fun that's it's upside down so the person wearing it can actually read it...lol
I took out a map while in NYC near the subway & a few people actually were very helpful! =-)

i love the idea, but the only issue i have with it is that from faraway, an upside-down map just...looks like a map. up close, though, it definitely works.

also, agreed, stylize the compass, not just 3 letters!
