But will their not-in-demand specialties get these z-listers the love they hanker after?

For such mundane superheroes, these are very imaginative. I really dig your style and had fun looking at this design and trying to think of some way that their skills might actually save the day. It made me laugh :)

i really love this, but i'm not sure about the typeface. some of them are hard to read, and although i can work out what they all say it might be more difficult for other people reading it off your shirt.

I really like this! May i suggest making the print a bit more legible?

It's a cool font, and i understand how it goes with the flowy style of the shirt, but i think it would pack more pizzazz if you could read it more quickly.

This reminds me of The League of Cliche Villians design which I loved....I guess this illustration style doesn't lend itself to superheroes much in my mind though...but if its your style you can't change that so at the least change the text some its a bit hard to read I think

I have to disagree with drums addict. The only way that this design and Leave of Clich� Villains is similar is that they are both making jokes about the comic genre and maybe the layout is a bit similar. These characters are exactly the opposite of clich�s and the style is completely different. There are only a few letters in this font that I found difficult to make out, and those can probably be fixed easily enough with a little tweaking of the curves without having to use another typeface entirely. I think the squiggliness goes well with the drawings.

Thanks for your comments! The type is handdrawn. I suppose making minor adjustments is allowed? (if this would be printed, that is...)

Like making the names a tad bigger and polishing up some of the letters slightly.

Pointless Man was my FAV superhero growing up and Jerry Seinfeld's icon! lol....love the ideas here, but i agree with the typeface being REALLY hard to read...maybe in a heroic and less cursive-y pattern would nail the job?

Pointless man is an existing hero? I didn't know that. I really didn't expect the script being hard to read for some.

It's too late to change that for this design i'm afraid, but I'll be a lot more careful next time and will consider more traditional type when text is needed.

Nought wrong with the type, though you might want to change 'Knackebrod' to 'crisp bread' ( think). This is a great execution of a very printable idea. Nice one.
