I love the fish and the squid a lot but the waves in the background are distracting and take away from the awesome figures.

actually a man had these awesome japanese waves tattooed on his back, thats kinda what i wanted to draw.

This is REALLY awesome. I don't give a lot of $, but you get a $5.. I want it now!

this is seriously exciting

Really freaking cool. I love how you illustrated the Great White and the squid, and even took some cool liberties with the flesh tone of the squid. there is a lot of interesting visual motion.

But, some constructive criticism:

1. the waves kind of distract from the design and clutter up the image. The action and key players weren't immediately apparent to me, i thought it was some kind of squid-headed winged monster, like one of these guys.

2. The black at the base of the waves kind of muddy up the image. maybe the waves and the combatants could be bursting from the sea surface instaead.

3. the squid's eye seems almost too 'human' compared to the shark's.

i'd like it a lot more if the giant squid were fighting a sperm whale. those are their natural predators. perhaps the shark just seems to small in comparison (and it would be if that's supposed to be a giant squid).

the little anime surprise marks around the squid don't really fit with the style - I think they should go. Other than that, your artwork is great
