I first used this idea in a printed newsletter to friends in the mid nineties... this is the same idea on a tee shirt.



People left links on the first sub to internet executions of the same concept, and while they're beautiful, I had no knowledge of them before designing the tee. There may well be a postcard (or several) and maybe a double-decker bus. It's... just... that... I... haven't... seen.... them (ugh, exhausted sigh after fielding repeated allegations of plagiarism).



I'm a designer. I'm not omnipotent. There are - amazingly enough - things in the universe of which I am ignorant.



I'm happy to consider a "z" version for our US-based buyers. God bless 'em.

The only one I don't get is the "in the last election my candidate..." part. I'm telling them about my life, not the election.

Point taken re election. In the last federal elections in Australia, my sitting member lost their seat. He was the Prime Minister, so it was stunning politically, whoever you voted for. And pleeease let's not open THAT can of worms :)

I have seen this concept before.

I saw a bunch of post-it type notes like this in a novelty store.

also not a big fan of the threadless plug. how does this shirt being printed by threadless make it better than a phone call?
