Hm... so the penguin went all the way to the other side of the world to trim the bear huh?

simastick - isn't that what March of the Penguins was about?
As far as the skin color goes, I just don't think black skin would have the same bare-naked look (no pun intended).

that penguin looks familiar - "It's the wrong scissors gromit !!!"

...and what's with people going on about "this animal doesn't live in the same place as that animal". for christ sake, penguin's don't generally carry around scissors and give other animals haircuts either. sheesh. get some imagination. 4 btw.

There is something off about it. My brain tells me that a polar bears skin is black, polar bears are arctic, and penguins are antarctic, so i cant fully enjoy it.

isn't that the penguin from Wallace and Grommet? It gives me the heebie jeebies.

i think the black skin on the bear would be going too far in the direction of realism. the penguin (if it is the one from the wrong trousers) is a reformed thief, after all. who would have thought prison could change feathers macgraw! i wouldn't trust him at my bear backside!

ehhh, good concept, not too sure about the execution. love the wallace and gromit penguin though :)

At first I didn't know what everyone was talking about when they said Feathers McGraw. Once someone said Wallace and Gromit I see it right away. Not intentional (possibly subconsciously though since I watched those movies as a kid). I just saw it as a comical duo (yes, even though it is unrealistic that they would be in the same place at the same time...they are linked by the fact that they would be affected by global warming).

Thanks for all the comments!

i know this is a t-shirt and shouldn't be taken too seriously, but problems with this are:
1) polar bears skin is black
2) penguins are in antarctica, polar bears in the arctic
3) al gore is the worst public speaker in the world (not bagging on global warming, but i couldn't even watch that movie because of his monotone)

^^^^ post was meant to be a joke (except the al gore thing), i like this idea...

gaaahh dont knock al gore.

and who cares that penguins and polar bears live apart?
every single global warming shirt it comes up...

I like the concept... also, if you actually tried to stay "true to reality" and make the polar bear's skin black, everyone would be saying it's a racist commentary rather than an ecological one...
