FRICKINAWESOME on Feb 13 '08 I agree with Chellz...it needs a nice glowing or glow in the dark effect to zap the concept home better. also, maybe a few more pieces missing and when it lights up, those pieces will really be noticeable which adds to the unfinished Lite Briteness to the design.

mezo on Feb 13 '08 Love the idea of using a Lite-brite to recreate a master's work....but I sure do hate Starry Night. Wish you would have used a more unconvential piece like even one of Van Gogh's self-portraits.

Awesome idea!!!!, glow ink is definitely needed and maybe more work on the light-bright box, the rectangle is too plain and too straight

I really love this, but I don't think the pegs look right... it's been along time since I've seen them though. overall it looks great, and glow in the dark would be a nice touch!

I agree with chelly "if only it were plugged in and glowing..."
It looks just like its off sitting in a corner... If you are able to make it just a little sideways instead of head on to give it some depth and make some cool reflections through the plastic pieces. Great idea, great start idea, needs work. Why don't any of the pieces have any bubbles in them? ALL of mine had a bubble on the inside of them, toward the top end. |

woah, no idea what happened with my last comment. what i intended to write was:
love it! although i agree some others before me. it would look fabulous illuminated. i also think the edges of the lightbrite should be brighter and slightly bolder. but great design...reminds me of my frustration as a youngin because all of my lightbrite creations were crap. oh, but how i loved lightbrite. :) |

i like drkilljoy's comment.... it would look a lil nicer if it wasn't so flat looking. even if just the frame of the lightbrite was more 3Dish... and yeah.. add the cord/outlet and glow ink.
