It´s incredible !!, amazing !!
Though, 8 colors ??? At any rate, a fantastic job, !! congratulations !! |

Wow! what a spread!
the closer I look at it the longer I want to look at it - well done Andreas Mohacsy ( I prefer it without the garlic around the neck too ) |

This is an awesome concept! Your work is consistently incredible, dude. Anyway, I just love this and I'm hoping they make an exception and let you into the contest. 5$

Crazy story, just like 80 days around the world, but with you losing a day. Great work, though. You've embraced the vibe of the contest fully. Q-dos.

p.s. I like everything but the garlic necklace. I think that'd look odd (in a bad way) screen printed on a shirt.

haha i forgot to shout, hang on... let's try that again
this will print without the GARLIC NECKLACE!!! |
|
It's got a very strong Primus feel to it. Great colour choices. The separate details would make great shirts themselves, I think.

i have been working on several designs for the threadless revolution contest for well over a month now but every time i finished a design i decided to start a new one and push it a little further, hoping to eventually be satisfied with the end result, by which I mean creating a design that feels and looks significantly different from the place i started, and the place where most people seemed to be going.
As a consequence i held off from submitting a design, because you are only allowed to enter once, and a few hours before i began to write this monologue i went to submit my design and realized that the contest window had become closed. Upon further investigation a simple error on my computer clock meant that i was a day behind and despite various anomalies in my day to day life, I in fact still thought i had a full day to submit.
As you may notice this design will appear as a non revolutions design but i have not used my 1 allocated submission, i have been a proactive member in discussions and blogs about the contest, have applied myself to the challenge and am hoping that you the designers, bloggers, staff and judges will consider a little revolution of your own disregard my silly mistake, and allow this design into the contest...
i'm not expecting it to win, for all i know most of you will probably hate it, I’m not even sure what I think of it, but this is a community inspired project and i have taken the ride with you all, and am most humbly asking you to look past the conceivably insignificant fact that the only difference between this and all of the other revolution designs you have been admiring, is that this was submitted a few hours later and doesn't have a cool little logo in the top right hand corner of the screen...
Who knows… possibly a few rules could even be broken in a REVOLUTION!!!... (unlikely i know) but maybe challenging what is generally accepted could even start a revolution of its own... might of even happened before:P
Regardless of what becomes of this design, please know that I had a fair dinkum crack at pushing my work in new directions, and embraced the intended spirit of the contest.
here is my revolution, the images derive from a very special recipe of actual ingredients... the characters from left to right...
marmalade Minotaur
steak Specter
Loch-ness lettuce
salad onion Ork
bread Basilisk
honey ham Harpy
semi dried Sasquatch
chocolate Cerberus
gherkin Genie
nutella Nymph
tomato Troll
vegamite Vampire...
thank you for reading any of the above - and so begins the next journey
