I dunno, making the ground by the crickets the same color as the sky is kind of confusing. It makes the mountains look wierd, seperate, a piece just kind of thrown in.
However, the concept is cool and the colors are muey bueno. I'm giving this one a solid $4. Good luck! |

I love the crickets and the idea, but the dark blue shape doesn't really work with the rest of the scene. The bottom of it is too straight and in-organic looking.
If this was re-worked a bit I would buy it. |

i like the concept and the shapes of the cricket musicians, but the background and grass isn't doing much for it. I agree that it's definitely an idea worth re-working and resubmitting. Enter it into the critiques area until you have it ready.

Love this, and I have no problem distinguishing the ground, mountains, and sky with the 2 tones of blue.

i like the two-tone mountains and sky, but I agree the grass is a little odd looking. i'd like it better with just the crickets on the bottom

I agree with pigboatcaptain, maybe try to make the underground or the grasshoppers brown, the reeds green?
