About my design

by Arvee
A recent run-in with a shoplifter brought about the idea for this design...

While taking his fingerprints, he asked why we needed them. The officer replied, "Incase you go on the lamb. You plan on going on the lamb?"

"No sir."

Thank you, Mr. Shoplifter.

hmm it mean what?

I think it's spelled "on the lam"--which is what makes this clever and hilarious.

Okay, I love the humor, and the drawing of hte lamb is really nice! I would love to see this in color on a colored shirt, though, since the minimalist doesn't quite fit with the tongue-in-cheek humor (IMO :)

I thought it would look sweet on the light yellow, natural, or sky blue as well.

You're right, von. Thank you! I used "lamb" in my description so not to confuse.

I still had -no- idea what this meant, until I looked it up on Wikipedia.

I’m guessing it’s an american saying?

Not so much an American saying, but an old saying...from who knows where.

A bit too literal. There seems to be a lot of this recently...1) Pick any phrase you like 2)Draw it literally. I mean, just because you can draw something doesn't make it a good idea.

I find the literal the most amusing. They aren't always easy to pull off, and you did very well in this case. I'll take two please! $5

I think its funny. 5 I like how it makes you just think about some other old sayings that just sound weird.
