I guess i took this the wrong way. When I look at it I see I HATE GAYS, not rainbows.

raph10.....rampant's comment makes more sense than yours. rainbows stereotypically represent gays. PINK absolutely does not represent women. if anything, it represents like breast cancer. make a more convincing point before you criticize.

I'm gay, and did not read this as an anti-gay shirt. When did all things rainbow=gay? I must have missed the memo. I know there's the rainbow flag and all that, but I don't see a rainbow CareBear for example and think "ooh.. that must be GayBear."

I think you should lose the "ih8". Other than that, it's a cool design!

I immediately interpret this as homophobic. I would completely buy this design if "iH8" was gone. How can you hate rainbows? Or Homos?

As much as i dig the design aesthetics here, I would be a bit too nerve-whacked to wear this when people would mis-interpret it as anti-gay. I'm not really anti-rainbow, but i think it's a funny enough idea to wear based on the brilliance of the design. I H8 H8!

maybe it's more on a humor side that he hates colors but then came up with a colorful design..........$5.

yes, the rainbows=gays thing is valid, but this would be such a silly way to express gayhate that I dont think very many people if anyone would actually take it that way.

on the other hand, the "ih8" is very jarring in that font, and kindof does lead one to think "what, what is going on", which can lead one to speculate "well maybe it is gayhate, all the other alternative explanations are equally bizarre".

I think the shirt works better without the letters at all, or with them in a different font that blends in a little more.

my REAL problem though is with the clouds. the rainbow itself is very very nicely done, although not totally sure about the white stripe. but the clouds? they're very cartoonish and rub me the wrong way somehow.

i say, just blow the shit out of the rainbow AND the clouds, leave off the letters, and people will get the point. but then, it's not my design is it.

Really I dont think I would wear an i HATE anything shirt. hate is a terrible and useless emotion, nothing good comes from it. wearing this shirt would basically just be announcing to the world that your an asshole.

i think the design is gorgeous....crackly rainbow, clear clouds, digital wording suggesting how the computer generation is fracturing natural beauty (rainbows).

rainbows DO having meaning to much (not all) of the queer community, but they have as much meaning to children, buddhists, christians, and leprechans.

i'm queer, i LOVE rainbows, i'd wear this.

The people who are being "offended" by this probably aren't even homosexual so who cares. It is a great design so good job.

Artistic design should always come before the obnoxious nit pickers who fear the dreadful pitfalls of not feeling politically correct.

The broken rainbow is kinda cool looking - I agree with the earlier poster about the clouds, maybe less cartoonish, more in line with the rainbow?

And I'd say take out 'I H8', and either put in 'I Hate', or, more abbreviated, maybe a small pic of an eye, some hay, and a 'T'? Not quite sure how that would look, but at least a little cryptic.

rainbows = different genders, race, nations... wow! I should have done my research before submitting this.
