Well what can i say...you asked for something that won't sell heheh...here it is...i have ideas for kinds of inks to be used but ill explain them in case i win...for me revolution is a mix of times, ages, people and its just a complex composition of multiple items...and colors....so i hope you enjoy it.

farflung on Jan 24 '08 i get the collage/mashup distinction. and i realise the latter is a musical term. but not all 'mashups' are collage. i just meant it to describe this sort of design, a bunch of random-looking stuff, seemingly thrown together. if a 'mashup' is all hand-drawn then its not really a collage, is it?

ALIADOTONY on Jan 24 '08 Well this pice in particular i did draw a lot stuff to put on i realize i wanted a lot o f things but in the end i took out a lot too...didnt want it to full...this covers various perspectives of revolution, music, ideas, science fiction...just a mash! of stuff but i did draw all except the face...i particularly like the bottom right with the pyramid and ufo... join now the revolution number 9 hahah

It's just for a company as big as Threadless, they could possible be contacted by the original owners, unless the center lady is an old family photo or someone you know. I worked for a small record label that got a letter from a lawyer for this exact reason. It can get messy over something so simple. Just a thought. |

ALIADOTONY on Jan 27 '08 well i believe its hard to do stuff like this cause in the end you're not sure if its ok or what...even when i was sending this i wasnt quite sure...but since i was working on this for almost a month i drew a lot added and took off a lot of stuff in the process...i said i have to send it anyway....oh and i forgot i usually do a sketch on paper on how many elements i want or some kind of rough...i figured that less is more didnt want it too full...still i thought of putting elements that i drew myself..i would say that its a mix of things on the line of the theme, which im not saying i accomplished, and i know there are amazing works on this contest...so i dont expect to win..but i guess im pleased with the final piece..

If you made another submission with the girl with the BLUE lightning bolt and the hair, and a TON of intricate GRAY designs around it like the Eyeball I WOULD totally $5 it. (Gray, to match the girl.
