Nice idea, very unique, stylish illo. A witty narrative, where I recognize the plug and socket but then experience surprise and a smile when I realize what's really going on.



I love the gesture and expression of the socket character. It's so informative that you don't even need the tired, worn out heart cliché to convey the story. At least you've added the electric symbol, which helps make the heart less boring/predictable.



Unfortunately, you've conceptualized and rendered an A+ piece of work but instead of praise and high 5s, you suffer criticism and rejection for the inaccurate orientation of the plugs. A simple, fixable error, (actually they could get together if they were familiar with the Karma Sutra), that puts your deserved high score in jeopardy.



My advice is to put up a comment like, "I screwed up, the plugs should be horizontal not vertical. I'll fix that. Please don't let it influence how you vote. Thank you." And then I would repeat it often until the scoring is over.

I love this a lot! The only thing I might suggest is making it slightly more obvious of the drama you're intending... that they won't fit together. Maybe add a third prong, or use an American-style outlet ( || ) plug for one of them.
