About my design
by Carold
This is my very first submission to Threadless. My son has helped me to put it on the computer and I am happy to share it with you. Every since I bought my first bicycle for $8 in 1957 I have enjoyed automobiles and transportation, so this contest sounded like a fun place to star here. It only took me 64 years to start designing t-shirts.

Any feedback, good or bad, would be appreciated. Thank you for stopping by!

I'm digging the hand-drawn, architect/engineer look of the shirt. Best of luck with the design. 4$

sort of Saul Steinberg - like

I do feel like it could benefit from some scale change. The two forms are so similar in size that there's a conflict of hierarchy for me. It might also need a point element here or there to contrast the large scale.

Keep exploring this approach though, I think it has a lot of character and potential for t-shirts.

nice drawing, but i wonder if you haven't thought of the technichs of printing of a shirt... it seem's quite not possible to be printed

Interestingly reminiscent of Greg Curnoe:

Greg Curnoe - Mariposa TT

I'd buy this. $5!

I like the engineering style, but the round placement is not the best for us gals. I have 2, not 4. ;o) You have a nice style, try something else! :o)

I definitely love the hand-drawn, yet architectural style of it. Reminds me of my mechanical drawing class in high school.

Great job!

i couldn't really see myself wearing it but it's a neat style. i would also go for stronger colors.

the travels of tomorrow look like the travels of the 60s, isn't that a VW Combi van? :)
Nice pic though, I'm guessing it has too many colors for a Threadless tshirt, unless they've changed the limit.
