Yes, make the bulb fluorescent, or else, it makes no sense (or is that what you were aiming to?). Improve on the tree.

It definitely makes more sense with the incandescent. Otherwise there's no contrast. It's an either/or statement, the irony being that the two are combined.
It might make it more impactful if it was a tree growing from a broken bulb, like nature reclaiming waste. Very nice. |

make it a flouresent. it may not be as recognizable, but thats why they have to be seen. maybe like a tree growing from the bottom?

I'm sure you thought of this idea on your own, but there are literally hundreds of illustrations on stock websites with the same concept.
