hey_barn on Jan 18 '08 In my head I kinda imagined there was a little kid on the other end of the seesaw but the monster sat down heavily and flung the kid off miles away into the trees or something :-p

FRICKINAWESOME on Jan 18 '08 I think i might actually like it more if a little child was out and actually playing on the seesaw at night and keeping it company. lol. Nice illo is it is now and the monster pops out without being too overbearing in the calm and gentle night time scene, but maybe some slight moonlight reflection off the objects in the scene might make it even a bit more dramatic. Great first sub.

Thanks frickinawesome, I really appreciate your opinion and advice. I thought about adding some moonlight reflection and other things I could do differently, maybe adding some shadows etc, but a better authority on t shirt design told me to stop fussing and sub the damn thing already ;p
Otherwise I probably would've kept working on it indefinitely. And although the idea of a kid keeping him company is very sweet (and I really hope he finds a friend one day), that wasn't the story I wanted to tell this time :) |

$5...IMO if there is one thing different, you should make the shirt a lighter/brighter color to make the image stand out more.

I agree with Frickinawesome that it could use some moonlight highlights to define the shapes better. I like this concept but it's hard to understand in a glance on a shirt.
