About my design

by Laser Bread
We've all sat staring at a blank page or a blank screen trying to come up with that bit of creative brilliance. So I thought I'd strategically illustrate this paper ball to represent that common frustration we all feel at some point or another, when in pursuit of that golden idea.

I have seen lots of designs with this theme, but the face on the paper is very clever

Nice idea, but I'd like it better if there were more balls, equally depressed. It'd up the frustration and look more interesting.

I was this close to giving this a zero, but the beauty is in the simplicity. $5

i think that it is a really good idea but you either need to make the ball a little bit bigger or have more balls. even if it is just a couple

Clean, neat. Make the ball bigger, great.

I think the ball looks perfect, it's actual size you know. :)

i dig the detailed paper/hidden pic, but something about the over simplistic wastebasket is bothering me, like it's missing something

I agree with liquid. It's a great concept, but you're juxtaposing two differing styles which confuses the design. You've got a standard cookie-cutter style wastepaper basket, and then a detailed, impressionistic paper ball WITH a face in it. Plus, the dimension is a little confusing, since the basket is simply an outline, but the ball is 3D.

My suggestion: do a top-down shot into the wastebasket. I love the one paper ball, but try to keep the artistic style thematically similar.

But it's still a great idea!
