This is a difficult concept to portray visually, since it also relies on facial and verbal cues -- and when someone actually does this, the hand motion starts in the face of the person being addressed (the fingers also aren't brought down fully in a clenched position either).
I think if you did add the text in a creative way (perhaps a "tirade" of what someone would say in the situation or just "oh no you didn't" by itself), and add a sense of liveliness to the current illustration that could help (eg. MIA's video and album cover for Kala). Or you can take the route that the Slang Flashcards employ... |
