(And BTW.....Chrysler did offer a below-the-dash record player in the 1950s, at least for a number of months. It was quite the kludge!) |

yeah when I finished this design I showed it to my dad and he told me about that. I was like ugh well I can't submit it now. I'm glad I did though because you seemed to enjoy it...thanks!!!

The funny thing is I always wanted to figure out some way to put my record player in my car. Pulleys, shocks, so many ideas so it wouldn't skip, but I just never followed through. Awesome!

yeah, they used to have in-car record players, but they would skip all the time... go over a bump and the needle goes everywhere...
