About my design

I am a big fan of anime. So I wanted to do what appeared to be a single still of animation. The spider forming out of the shirt while the heroine is bound by the same mysterious substance. I hope you like it.

Each element is too busy. Soften it up a bit and get some character in the outlines of each element. Overwrought detail is bad. Sometimes. Here.

Overwrought detail rocks. It doesn't strike me as anime, but it's cool nonetheless (in a trashy way).

as if the spider doesn't present any peril at all

Maybe a bit more screamy and terrified, king kong damsel style? Nice idea.

Hello Helo, That is why I named it "Serene" Peril. You notice she has a knife, with which she could cut herself free and kill the spider, but she doesn't seem to being doing either.
