As an avid rock listener, I have to plead guilty to sporadic pop obsessions. This design is inspired by the John Lennon song, "Imagine", to show how classics by sensations such as John Lennon and the Beatles will stay with us – past, present and future.

I'm not familiar with print methods exactly, so I'm going to stick with just the usual (what ever that is). The word "Imagine" on the back stretches to the edge on one side, but if that causes a problem for printing, it can always fade/cut off before it reaches the seam.

The design is of a man, standing in a parochial shower of music. The music morphs into some sort of paradise at his feet (flowers, vegetation etc.). This was a handdrawn, before I scanned it onto my laptop, and I decided to keep some of the guidelines that were originally drawn in pencil. I aimed to keep this design as simple and straightforward as possible, I hope it worked.

I like how it says imagine on the back. A lot of threadless T's don't have that

I like the front A LOT, it's very unique. I don't know tho, if I like the "Imagine" on the back written in that font. I have seen shirts with a font like that at Kohl's and other department stores so I'm not sure I'd go for it.

i rarely say this, but i think the text actually does draw away from the image.

I can't really vote on this until a close-up. I do, however, dislike the text on the back.

the front sounds awesome, but the back definitely has a quality about it that's dissuading, given the circumstances. cool writing though.

Hmm. Seems like it's pretty much a 'hate' situation for the back.

At a first glance I thought it was weapons raining down, not raindrops...
That would have been amazingly cool, since Imagine is anti-violence song, and the weapons would have just been bouncing off the umbrella...

But anyway, still cool.

This is actually more like "Across the Universe" than "Imagine," but it could be seen as a combination of both.

I don't think the font is appropriate and I'm not crazy about the text in general, so I'd take it off.

I thought that "back" said "beck" for a split second because the typeface is similar to beck's guero album. This is neat, though. $4.

Beautifully thought out...really like the layers of detail and depth in the concept. It would help allot to have a close up in the submission image.

Complete agreement. Text takes away from the overall design and I can't see the connection.

I absolutely adore the design on the front, it’s very unique.
However, the only and I mean ONLY way that the text on the back could work / tie in, is if you take the same concept from the font and hand sketch the word “imagine” using the same technique.

Like everyone else has said, I would totally buy this if it were just the front image. The text takes so much away.

Like the image, but no text

Love the style and concept, but agree that there's a monsoon of notes. Maybe a few less notes and a few more flowers to get it across better. Imagine is optional, since that was your motivation, but not necessary.

This is really good. I'm not so sure about the text on the back as well, but the front design is amazing.
