Its gonna sound critical but compared to everything else in the revolution contest this looks way too plain. It might have helped had you drawn each cricket individually rather than cut and paste.

I think the copy-paste crickets are right for this concept (though I normally frown on repeating elements). However, I don't know if the concept is right for a shirt.

hey where on earth is the batsman?!?!?!?! come on... no cricket without the batsman... i absoloutely love the concept.. is there anyway you could make the crickets look a little less copy-pasted? good job anyway!

Can you really score a silly point in cricket? Maybe that's what you get if you don't EXTRA COVER your THIRD MAN when you DEEP FINE SLIP you LONG OFF into a LEG GULLY...

If the crickets end up in uniforms, bags the 'whites' with the goold old 'baggy green' cap. Perhaps an umpire cricket all by himself on the back?

to Bio-bot 9000 , and why are the feet on the abdominal part and not on the thorax, where are the stigmata, the tympanum, clypeus, vertex, occiput, paraprocti, cerci, protonum... does it matter? :D The designer is probably not a biologist, can we blame him?

The cricket is supposed to look cut and paste. It's not a picture of crickets playing cricket, it's an explanatory diagram. You have to watch cricket on tv to appreciate all the visual aids that get displayed throughout the match and it resembles one of those.

Good lord.. I never gave it much thought, but I am totally confused now. I liked to imagine it really only involved the guy tossing the ball and the guy with the stick... I thought everyone else was just standing around watching :P

OK - Legs and wings are attached to the thorax. Thorax is made up of several sub-segments (no need to give them names). Boundary between thorax and abdomen is hidden by hind leg. Problem solved (for those w/ a problem in the cricket anatomy)! :o)
