This design is for the love promo Discogs Loves Threadless "Music: Past, Present, Future"

I associated dance with music for the design instead of using bands or artists and instruments.

The dances I used are: swing/rock n roll, disco, break and modern/contemporary.

cool design and idea. i'm not too keen on the modern/contemporary dancer, as i think it would be more interesting to have something more futuristic for the last one. my only other critique would be the purple shirt ... i wouldn't buy it like that, but the blue/white is pretty cool.... i think a black on black with special ink would be interesting as well.

Love it! Doesn't really go with the theme though; it should be more music-oriented. I still give it a 5 because I really love this.

I don't like the blue on purple either. The white on blue is nice. Good design.

You've done a good job with the rendering, but I'm afraid it's going to be too reminiscent of the ipod ads.

purple and green

I like the purple and teal.

The spacing between the three at left are a little off. More between 1 and 2 and a touch less between 2 and 3.

this has been done it think or maybe a similar idea though i like it. but the break dance could have been better executed...just a thought

The contemporary dancer looks like somebody from an iPod ad... it would be nice to see her with a nice "more-classical" leg extension (et cetera). Just something different.

Out of the three colour schemes, I'd opt for the green on purple. The others don't seem.. Unusual enough.

reminds me of the design i saw where it had all the same dancers basically, then a ddr machine.

yes i definitely agree that the dancer on the far right should have her leg extended into a kick or more of a technical move.

It would be nice to see different kinds of people represented here too... maybe an afro or something... 'specially on the breaking guy or disco couple. Just a thought.
